Istanbul, Turkey - November 17, 2025 - Infect Cam, the tense new body-cam co-op horror shooter from indie studio Ravenholm Interactive, is now live on Steam for $12.99 USD, launching with a 20% discount during release week.
Infect Cam challenges players to survive against overwhelming odds in infected quarantine zones - but with a twist: there’s no HUD, no crosshairs, and no on-screen guidance. Every step, scream, and flashlight flicker is experienced through a shoulder-mounted body camera, creating a perspective that feels both cinematic and claustrophobic.
Fear Through Function
Unlike most co-op horror games, Infect Cam trades traditional UI and tutorials for realism and communication. Each player views the action from their own body-cam feed, capturing a distorted, handheld sense of movement that turns even small encounters into moments of panic.
Players must coordinate with teammates, navigate in low visibility, and react in real time to unpredictable outbreaks. There are no floating objectives or glowing markers - survival depends entirely on sightlines, sound, and squad awareness.
This minimalist approach creates a natural tension that grows from confusion, isolation, and shared reliance - making Infect Cam as much about trust and teamwork as it is about horror.
Game Structure
Each session in Infect Cam drops up to four players into contained, objective-driven missions set in abandoned facilities, ruined neighborhoods, and infected research sites.
Teams must locate survivors, recover intel, and extract safely while managing scarce resources.
Missions are semi-procedural, with dynamic lighting and enemy spawns that keep every run unpredictable.
Success unlocks new gear, cosmetics, and challenge modifiers, encouraging replayability and coordination.
The experience is designed to feel like a found-footage survival operation - intense, grounded, and relentlessly human.
A New Kind of Indie Horror
Ravenholm Interactive describes Infect Cam as an experiment in presence. Inspired by the tension of classic survival horror and the intimacy of found-footage filmmaking, the team set out to build something that feels lived-in rather than designed. The result is a game where immersion isn’t just visual - it’s psychological. Players learn to read rooms by instinct, gauge danger by breath, and trust others because they have no other option.
