The rabbits have officially won.
Yajueko, in partnership with indie.io, has launched Yankee Rabbits today on PC via Steam.
In Yankee Rabbits, humanity is gone and the city belongs to pink, bat-swinging humanoid rabbits. The only one left to push back is a mysterious anime girl armed with enough firepower to turn the bunny apocalypse into a very loud problem.
Players fight through 10 stages, each split into 10 escalating rounds of chaotic combat. Every stage ends in a boss fight that escalates the absurdity even further. The game fully commits to the contrast between cute pastel visuals and intense, high-difficulty action. It looks harmless. It is not.
And the rabbits are not your only problem.
Satsuko, a deeply corrupt police officer who made a deal with the Yankee Rabbits to stay in power, actively attacks the player. She blames the anime girl for everything the rabbits have done and ensures every encounter is more chaotic than it needs to be.
Completing Classic Mode unlocks even more insanity. Survival Mode throws endless waves at players to test their limits. Free Run Mode introduces double jumps and platforming-focused stages. Additional Free Run courses are planned post-launch, including both free and optional paid content.
Yankee Rabbits is fast, ridiculous, and unapologetically over the top. It is built around wave after wave of escalating nonsense, where cute aesthetics collide with relentless combat and survival is the only plan.
