A whimsical co-op coloring game for all ages is coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch!

[Mexico] – September 18th, 2025 – deleon and indie.io are delighted to announce that Color Breakers 2, a coloring game for those with whimsy, friends, and a love of pixel art will release on Steam and Nintendo Switch on October 9, 2025! Players young, old, and anywhere in between will be able to enter a world of cooperative and competitive painting, recreating stolen paintings before an imminent museum opening!

What museum? The Color Museum, a world famous collection of artwork, hosting a pixel art exhibition! Unfortunately, right before the opening day some mysterious villain has stolen all of the exhibits. Surrounded by empty walls and with no clue as to who is responsible, the Color Breakers decide on the only reasonable course of action: Jump into the paintings and remake them pixel by pixel!

Players join the recreation action as a Breaker of their choice. Each painting is a unique arena that they color in using oversized crayons - but watch out! Every level has its own unique challenges from narrow walkways the Breakers can fall off and (not) enjoy a dip in cold water, through disappearing bridges keeping everyone on their toes, to constantly shifting canvases that will take focus to master.

Cooperation, communication, and collaboration are key to success - especially when you can have up to 8 aspiring master painters trying to fill in pixels and constantly stepping on each other’s work. Feeling a little competitive? The new and improved Versus mode splits players into two teams, both trying to recreate the same pixel painting, racing against the clock and each other at the same time.

Color Breakers 2 is always ready to shake things up, with every level bringing new twists to the formula, procedurally generated paintings ensuring there’s no surefire way to complete a level, and the constantly changing maps adding exciting new possibilities for testing friendships as players collide while trying to reach the end goal.

Ready to paint the town red (and other primary colors of your choice)? Color Breakers 2 will launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch on October 9th!
