Launceston, Tasmania - April 16, 2026 | Launceston-based Smash Attack Aus and USA publishing platform indie.io have announced their sci-fi drone 2D platformer Nullstar: Solus is out now on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S.
Nullstar: Solus is a precision platformer where speed is of the essence, as your drone races down into forgotten, overgrown chambers and corridors, facing ancient dangers and forgotten hazards in its quest for the most powerful energy source in existence.
The game consists of 100 bite-sized levels (75 base levels and 25 remixed hard courses) where players must carefully guide their drone through hazards both mechanical and organic, providing a satisfying level of tension and that feeling of "just one more try" determination.
Nullstar: Solus is a game for players of all ages and skill levels, designed to be easy to learn but challenging to master. Each level offers freedom to choose your path, while the thruster system enables skilled players to pursue faster times. A harder, darker world of levels awaits those seeking greater challenges and deeper exploration.
Nullstar: Solus is out now on PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S for US$9.99, and is available through the indie.io store. Be sure to follow Smash Attack Aus' Bluesky account or join their Discord.
