Announcement Trailer Reveals a High-Flying, Farming-Fueled Twist on Bullet Hell Action

Winrose Warren is ready to bloom! Today, Air Hares officially announced its release date: the whimsical, top-down on-rails flyer with aerial farming and bullet-hell dodging will launch on Steam on January 14, 2026.

Set during the time of the Black Blaze, a myth-tinged reimagining of the American Dust Bowl era, Air Hares follows Captain Rabbo Sunskipper, an intrepid bunny pilot who leads a rag-tag crew of fluffy flyers to turn a barren wasteland into a thriving garden. Instead of relying on pure firepower, players must seed and water carrot fields from the sky, manage limited resources, parry threats, and outmaneuver the avian goons of the nefarious Gale Gang, all while restoring hope to a land left behind by humankind.

Alongside the game, Air Hares will also release with two optional digital companions:

• an Original Soundtrack (OST) featuring the game’s high-spirited aviation-meets-dustbowl musical identity, and

• a Digital Comic Book expanding the story of Captain Rabbo, Dirk Doggo, and the Wing Hares.

Both will be available separately or together as part of a bundle on Steam when the game launches.

As players advance, Winrose Warren visibly transforms from dust-choked ruin to a lively, blossoming community. Each successful flight pushes the warren closer to recovery, attracting new recruits to the Air Hares and building toward an ultimate confrontation with the fearsome Twin Horn, whose defeat will decide the fate of bunny-kind.
